The Federal Triangle Partnership (FTP), consisting of the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, is pleased to announce its program commemorating 2015 National African American History Month, which is celebrated annually during the month of February.  The 2015 national theme is “A Century of Black Life, History, and Culture.”  This year's program will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, in the auditorium of the U.S. Department of Commerce, which is accessible from the Federal Triangle Metro station on the blue/orange lines.  Seating for this event is on a first come, first serve basis. The keynote speaker is Dr. Frank Smith, Director of the African American Civil War Memorial and Museum. Ms. Izella Dornell, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Management and Business Operations, will serve as Moderator.
