arrowTraveling Abroad - Visas

To issue a visa, embassies may require at least six months validity on the passport, two facing pages, visa applications, photographs, visa fees, etc. Requirements vary depending on the country. As visa requirements change without notice, always check with the ADTRAV Travel Office’s visa section (482-1215) as soon as you learn that you’ll be traveling to a foreign country.

Please note, if you are leaving in less than the Embassy’s required number of days to process a visa, the traveler or his/her representative must hand carry the documents to and from each Embassy. The ADTRAV Travel Office will prepare the visa and/or passport letters only.

The visa office receives back all official documents and notifies the traveler.
