The mission of the Real Estate Division (RED) is to provide policy, oversight, and coordination to all DOC organizational units in the implementation of the real property program. The division is responsible for developing and maintaining a life cycle approach to asset management covering the acquisition, use, management and disposal of real property. RED develops and maintains the Real Property Management Manual as well as manage the Department’s real property warrant program. The division also monitors the GSA delegation program. The division is also responsible for maintaining and reporting the Department’s real property inventory and managing the information technology system tracking the inventory.
