Mission
The mission of the Office of Commerce Services (OCS), Office of Administrative Services (OAS), Chief Financial Officer/Assistant Secretary of Administration (CFO/ASA), Office of the Secretary (OS), is to be an office of value to the Department of Commerce (DOC). OCS is comprised of a high-caliber team of experts who possess the knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs. OCS manages and meets customer expectations; we go above and beyond when working with our clientele.
OCS is a major part of the core administrative functions in the Department. Policy development and oversight are key functional areas that enable the Department’s ability to manage its systems and core administrative programs.
OCS is comprised of a small front office supporting 3 major divisions that handle a multitude of operational functions. This includes transit benefits, vehicle management, visa/passport services, graphic design, and property inventory to name just a few key operational responsibilities. The divisions are listed here along with their mission statements:
Mail and Multimedia Division (MMD)
Personal Property and Transportation Management Division (PPTMD)
Travel Management Division (TMD)
