Special Exemptions for Project Managers & Contracting Professionals

Do contracting professionals have to meet the procurement management training requirements outlined in the COR Certification Program Policy?
Contracting professionals, occupying acquisition positions, that meet both the education and training requirements for their grad level, which are outlined in section 2.3 of the DOC Acquisition Career Management Program, CAM1306.6 are exempt from the Procurement Knowledge and Performance training requirements outlined in paragraph 4.4 of this section. { See Appendix H Glossary of Terms for definitions of Contracting Professionals and acquisition positions.}

Do project managers have to meet the project management training requirements outlined in the COR Certification Program Policy?
Experienced project managers who have attained their certification from a university program or by passing one of the recognized Project Management certification exams are considered to have met the COTR - Level 3 Project Management Knowledge and Performance training requirements outlined in paragraph 4.3 of this section.
